Family Trip to Moab
Last weekend Justin and I took the kids on a quick trip to Moab, and it was such a fun mix of adventure and beautiful views. We stayed at a great Airbnb (I’ll link it HERE!), which made the perfect home base for exploring!
We spent a day in Arches National Park, starting with Double Arch Trail. This is an easy, quick hike that’s perfect for kids and incredibly rewarding. Seeing those massive arches up close is something that is hard to appreciate until you’re standing underneath them.
Next was Sand Dune Arch, tucked between rock formations with soft sand that made it extra fun for the kids. It was a great place to take a break and let them explore.
Our last stop was Delicate Arch Trail, which was definitely more challenging than the others. It’s a longer hike with little shade, so I wouldn’t recommend it for very young kids. We went in the spring, and even then it was warm, so I can only imagine how tough it might be in the summer heat. However, it is absolutely worth it. The views are incredible and seeing Delicate Arch in person is truly unforgettable.
Justin and I actually did this hike a few years ago at sunset, and it was hands down the best time to go. The lighting, the cooler temps, and the views make it such a special experience.
If you’re planning a trip to Moab, I would absolutely recommend any of these hikes. You won’t regret it!
