Spring Break in Hawaii
Justin and I took the kids to Hawaii for Spring Break last week. We had been looking forward to this trip for quite awhile! We stayed at the Four Season Resort Oahu in Ko Olina! Our trip was everything we hoped for and more! It was relaxing, beautiful, and so family-friendly. We spent most of our days right at the resort, and honestly, you don’t need to go far to enjoy it. There are so many little paths and areas to explore, which made it fun for the kids to wander and discover new spots. The lagoon quickly became our favorite place to hang out. You can swim, paddle board, snorkel, or just float and take it all in. It felt like the perfect mix of activity and downtime.
We love to try new food when we travel, and we found some great spots near the resort! We loved grabbing meals at Monkeypod Kitchen, Moku Kitchen, NOE Italian, and Mina's Fish House. They each were unique and had such a great island vibe and delicious food. And of course, Starbucks was our easy go-to for quick breakfasts before starting the day. One evening we headed into Waikiki for some shopping (there are SO many great stores), and tried dinner at Stripsteak Waikiki, which being honest, wasn’t our favorite of the trip. lol
Overall, this trip was such a win for our family. Between the laid-back resort days and a few fun outings, it felt like the perfect balance. The kids absolutely loved Hawaii, as Justin and I already did. We are now dreaming about going back! Maybe next time we’ll even explore a different island!
