My Fitness Journey - Updated


In July 2023 I decided that I was tired of feeling tired, sluggish, and not able to fit into my clothes.  I was ready to make a change.  I made a commitment to myself and refused to quit.  

Here are the steps that I took to heal my body and initially lose 30 lbs!   

I started walking one hour every single day.  I have continued this habit ever since.  Walking has so many health benefits.  Check out my blog post HERE on the Benefits of Walking.  

I also started drinking more water every day.  I now fill up my 40 oz tumbler 3-4 times a day! 

Priortizing rest was also essential in my journey.  As a night owl, it has always been hard for me to get to bed early.  I strive now to get 7-8 hours a night, and it has truly made a difference! 


Once I decided to go all-in on this fitness journey, I tried some new supplements that a friend had recommended.  I now swear by my YU supplements. These supplements help with bloating, increased energy, and control my cravings! Along with the above, I switched up my workout routine.  Instead of working out six days a week, I now lift weights three to four days a week with the MOVES app.   I personally follow the Daily Moves program but any of them are great.
